Cukrkandl lives!
We revive the sleeping brownfield, we opened Cukrkandl
In February 2018, in the Viniční domka Prahy 12, we presented a unique intention to make part of the closed plot of land after the former Modřany sugar factory available to the public. The temporary role of the offered space, which we named Cukrkandl, was to be a universal place for meeting communities and their sports, social and other activities.
In May 2018, we officially opened the gates of Cukrkandl and brought life to it. We were inspired by the representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University, with whom we have been cooperating for a long time.
We intend to maintain the activities that will find their supporters here in the new residential area, the construction of which is planned on this plot in the horizon of 2-5 years.

Cukrkandl is open for you
from April to September:
- ROUBIKE coffee and bicycle service
- Bicycle track for children and adults
- Parkour park
- Kokoza Community Garden
- Volleyball playground
- Outdoor gym for children and adults
- Rekola poin
- Underground tours
- Children's playground and sandpit
And many cultural and sporting events for all!
Graffiti paintings from renownd Czech artitst Kaer and Khoma are also part of the revival of the brownfield.

We opened the Parkour Park in autumn 2019.
The underground under the chimney was also made accessible in the area.
